UNT and Walking!

Fishing with Trish's husband and friends yesterday was soo fun! I have never witnessed at all myself (I've only passed out or left tracts places) but yesterday at UNT it was exciting after a girl came up and asked about what we represented and stood for. She was so interested that as soon as she was gone I was like 'I can do this- this isn't hard or as scarey as I thought!' And isn't God like that? To give a good impression first- he's so sweet! :D
Mama and I also got to pray with a very sweet girl that gave her life to Jesus and was really considered about her eternity! She was so sincere and precious to talk with. Please pray for her in her new walk with Christ!

Oh I have really been out of shape (wasting time inside and not doing any physical work) so I started walking down our beautiful street yesterday and it also gives me a great 'quiet time' to turn my iPod on to listen to Debi Pearl's book "Preparing To Be a Helpmeet". I plan to get the bible on my iPod so I will be able to grasp more of his holy word (we just bought the MP3s of Alexander Scourby's narrative and I can't wait)!

School Board campaigning is fun too. Two Saturdays so far I've been out knocking door to door with the other lady running for a different seat on the Board, Amy. She is so on fire for the truth to be put into the Schools and I can't wait to work more with her. I have to make signs now for my campaign and that will be fun!

And we are all planning Christy's wedding here! Its amazing how fast things can change... But all in God's timing :) Read her blog post about it here.

You all have a great day and come out and witness with us sometime at UNT (its so fun you'll enjoy it- and if you can't come find some College near you)!

School Board Campaigning

As some of you know I'm running for Collinsville School Board here in town.

And so today I was finishing a post card to give out this weekend. Also just finished a website for my campaign here: www.faithgrubb.webs.com

Please continue to keep me in your prayers.

Thank you Melody for the award!!!

Stephen Knotts & School Board

Stephen Knotts is Christy's boyfriend, per-fiance', suitor or beau! (The stage between friends and fiance!)

He is here for a week and its been fun learning how a young man courts a young lady.

It is exciting to see how God works in so many different ways and yet so beautifully! The season of spring is here :) And boy are the 'love birds' sweet to watch.

I am officially running for Collinsville School Board and I am excited to learn the ropes of campaigning and running as a candidate. It seems God wants me here too. I wasn't looking to run at all, but after hearing how easy it is for the wrong people to get in I was somewhat alarmed for the education of our youths and then at a town meeting I was told there was one place left open for School Board and I excitedly applied and was accepted as a candidate!

My Lord will help me win, along with the work I'll be putting in and I can't wait to at least experience running as a candidate.

Lord willing I will be able to get on the school board and vote according to the bible's statutes on all that is presented to the board.

Keep me in your prayers, please and let me know what you think of my running!

And what beautiful weather, only for a chilly breeze... And what new flowers and green everywhere. It makes me get ready for anything and excites me about our trip up to Colorado in June, again! The beautiful sunshine is so yellow and bright too. Have a beautiful spring.

"May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, be with you all. Amen."
